A Typical Boomerang Day

While the flow of the day may shift to accommodate and respond to student needs, each discovery-filled day in STRIVE includes time devoted to academics, social and emotional learning groups and activities and, of course, food and fun!

Below is the schedule for a typical day at STRIVE:

8:45 – Students arrive for Alternative to Suspension Program (Monday to Friday)

9:00 – Morning Circle: students and staff review the daily schedule and expectations, and team build

9:30 – Group work focused on social-emotional skill-building

12:00 – Exercise

12:30 – Lunch

1:00 – Academics: students work on school assignments, get support with organization and planning skills

1:45 – Closing Reflection

2:00 – Dismissal from Alternative to Suspension Program
