A Typical Boomerang Day

Each day’s activities follow a theme: conflict & communication, healthy relationships, stress management and substance use, self-expression, personal growth

8:45 – Students arrive for Alternative to Suspension Program (Monday to Friday)

9:00 – Morning Circle: students and staff review the daily schedule and expectations, and team build

9:30 – Academics: students work on school assignments with volunteer tutors

11:00 – Morning Group: interactive skill-building group based on the day’s theme

12:00 – Exercise

12:30 – Lunch

1:00 – Afternoon Skill-Building Group: interactive skill-building group based on the day’s theme

1:45 – Closing Reflection

2:00 – Dismissal from Alternative to Suspension Program

4:00 – Continuing Connections After School (Tuesday to Thursday)
